Welcome to Derby Skillbuild
Set in 20 acres of grass and woodland next to Osmaston Park in Derby (just past Moorways leisure complex on the right) we provide BTEC Level 1, 2,& 3 national qualifications for young people in addition to functional skills & GCSE maths & English.

We have been established locally for over 20 years and offer smaller class sizes (average 8) in a range of valuable hands-on vocational qualifications.

From September 2024, learner places will generally only be available to learners with special educational needs (e.g. EHCP & EOTAS) and placements will become more specialised with smaller class sizes. We also offer full scholarships to exemplary past or present students.
We are also an Edexcel examination centre for GCSE, Functional Skills (Maths & English) and IGCSE and GCE A Levels.
